Midwest Bank | Norfolk, employees packaged 127,000 meals at Mercy Meals in Norfolk. The meals will be delivered to children in need across the world. Admission to the event was a freewill donation, with over $600 raised to help the North Platte High School journalism class purchase new cameras. Union Bank & Trust Co. | Lincoln, received a Governor's Wellness Award from the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services and Gov. Jim Pillen. The bank was awarded a Grower Award, which honors businesses and organizations that demonstrate significant improvement in employee health behaviors. Over 70 volunteers from various local businesses completed minor repair work on houses along the 7000 block of Morton Street in northeast Lincoln. First National Bank of Omaha | North Platte, hosted the Mid-Plains United Way annual chili cook-off on Oct. 6. The event was the kick-off for the Mid-Plains United Way fundraising campaign. Around 300 people attended the open house to see the updated, more open look, as well as the ramp-accessible entrance and wheelchair-accessible teller desk. United Republic Bank | Gretna, and the City of Gretna celebrated the grand opening of Gretna Crossing Park, which is sponsored by the bank.
